well, they don't have the same crucial kit, that's the 800 version, not the 1000, and on a PSU... http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=267003

I have it on excellent authority, who has the coveted ASUS P5B MB and now a DFI Infinity 975X/G and claims the DFI is kicking the ASUS's butt!

Wow... it's almost shocking that I'm not the only one questioning the "suckiness" of the Infinity.

Bingo. I rant on DFI's cheap entry into the Intel's chipset lineup. It's apparent that DFI is focusing on the new ATI/AMD chipset board, and featuring a LanParty board for their platform, so where's the Intel chipset love? Nothing against DFI, they make good boards, but I scorn against cheap(er) quality than expected from a performance based manufacture.

Well, their "planned" R600 board is here
Can't guarantee it will actually be released, since DFI LanParty boards have yet to make a significant impact on the Intel market. (2 LanParty boards have been released for Intel's LGA775 platform, neither of which are C2D compatible)

DFI has had a few Intel planned LanParty boards that were never released, just hyped up by reviewers. This situation is no different.

DFI is terribly overrated for Intel users.
