It's a great board, but you should really think about a P45 over the P35's.

Sweet!
__________________thanks for the input! will post my max OC as soon as i've wacked this baby into my tower.... from what i've read if i can just get a good aftermarket cooler and ddr2 1033 mem i should be able to get 3.2ghz easy and maybe even 3.5ghz!

yea i have the improved version of this board, its great! unfortunately my RAM is limiting me, it likes tight timing but not high frequency
 so my OC is limited to 450FSB and i used to have a e6420 i could hit 3.44 Stable for 8hours of prime so good luck!

Yep I am still doing it on a P35...not because I have to..but because I want to
Just ordered another P35 to set up. They are so cheap now...and we know what they can do.

and even with the newest biosupdate,it will support the Q9550....lol......not tried to oc yet cause i have stockHS.............when i have cash i am looking @ buying the darkknight or the mugen2......if available here in store lol..........just reading a lot before i start clocking before i make a mistake lol
sorry to blow this OLD thread back in life...........wondering how far it will take my Q.....

You'll get a good run out of it. Maybe 440 FSB stable with a lot of juice. The P5K runs out of steam on quads after about 450 FSB. Unlocked multiplier is the ticket.

ok thnx for info ......when my aftermaketcooling comes in, i will report back,.....but also thinking of buying when the time comes and cashflow is enough, for a P45 board.....but first wanna test this one out to the max,....then decide....but was hoping for a stable 450fsb,......
still looking in bios how it all works.
