You recieved, as in you got it to review by Asus?

=)

Check out my Gskill one in my signature. First review went pretty smooth.

I think the P5K has an option to lower Vdroop.

The board looks tasty, can't wait to hear what you have to say.

I had one arrive yesterday. Yet to fire it up though but from the results of others it looks very promising. It seems to be about par with the 965 chipset from what I've read but its only on a early bios. If I remember correctly the 965 improved a lot as the bios became more refined.
I'm hoping for a 500+ FSB.

ABout time for me to set up the test bench...I was actually thinking I might have to break out the new pumps and blocks and see if the FuZion is all that...

We will see how it goes...

More in a little bit...

Talking The 3 Hour $300 LC TechStation

Test Rig:

Lian Li Motherboard tray--$30

DangerDen FilPort $20

Alphacool POV Bullseye (rev.2) --$80

DB-1 pump-- $50

PA 160 Rad --$110

FuZion WaterBlock --$70

ClearFLex 1/2" ID 3/4" OD-- $5

Stainless steel Pinch-ear clamps--$3

32 oz. Primochill UV red with 1/2 oz. D-Tek Purple Dye added --$30

Buiilding a state of the art LC Tech station in 3 hours...priceless

Filling was entertaining and took about a half hour.

The DB-1 is absolutely inaudible. I mean I cannot tell if it is running...if it can do the job this will be the pump of choice!

I like the ClearFlex much more than the PrimoFlex--the PrimoFlex is very soft and easy to smudge or stain--the pinch ear clamps would grab the primo and bunch it up --a potential leak hazard unless the clamps are applied perfectly.

The D-Tek dye is awesome--I highly reccomend this dye--a small amount tints a lot of fluid--I prolly used two times more than needed.

The stuff glows like a flourescent lamp uinder UV--it looks amazing..I have never seen a real purple glow under UV..I like it.

I'll be using this test rig to benchmark and overclock the P5K sometime tomorrow evening--I have a full day ahead of me. And it's 3 am
