I might be going with an EVGA till X38 gets cheap... so I went out and gathered this one... I only want to post what people find and post themselves cause it would be too much work otherwise but here is one I went and found myself...
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=223749 EVGA EDIT: SCRATCH THAT... I need 6 SATA ports and SLI... EVGA only makes 4 SATA ports

Yes I can confirm the 680i A1/T1 do have 6 sata ports. 4 near the ram slots and 2 near the bottom right of the board.
DFI also makes a 680i board which looks pretty nice! but it carries a premium! I think ncsa has this board and he has got his q6600 high in clocks as well.

__________________The DFI 680i-LT is a good board and while maybe not the most popular, due to timing of arrival and complexity to get stable, is a great performer... plus the 6 SATA ports on the nVidia controller outperform the ICH for same drives .. have a look at the HDD Benchmarks where I posted a comparison. Of course if you need to run RAID-5 then use a real controller and not any on-board BOT Quote:
Maybe the BIOS not fully support the Q66 and hence does not recognise it ... you will find bencing on a 965 compared to a 680/650 will be easier and have better scores for the same clock ![]()

I hit 450 FSB (450x8) with my Asus P5K Premium and G0 prettty easily. I haven't tried to go higher. I'm very happy with this board.

QuadGT maximum with any processor (Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad) is 444Mhz. At 445Mhz the computer won't even post. On the Core 2 Duo it loads into windows and benchmarks fine. On the Core 2 Quad it posts and normally BSODs.

So Paul do you think the wall for Quads is a bit lower than 444? Also I didn't know the EVGA had 6 ports! Newegg doesn't seem to know that wither on the specs sheet...! So do you guys know if it would run two RAID0s and two additional drives easily? All plus an IDE optical?
