Default All Mobos Q6600 FSB Walls

I have a P5N32-E SLI and I am dealing with a horribly low FSB wall due apparently to low GTL voltages not controllable through the BIOS.

POST YOUR MAX FSB

that way we can document the MoBo's walls and help people
pick the best motherboard to get full Q6600 overclocking

ONLY RE-POST MOBOs IF YOU GOT A HIGHER FSB THAN NOTED HERE WITH A Q6600
AND PLEASE POST GUYS WE NEED MORE MOBOs ON THE LIST

keep in mind this list is not finished or complete yet

ABIT IP35 pro ~ 490 x 7
ASUS Commando ~ 457
ASUS P5B DELUXE wifi ~ 450
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R ~ 450
EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 ~ 450
ASUS P5K Premium ~ 450
ABIT AB9 QuadGT ~ 444
GIGABYTE P35-DS3R ~ 425
ASUS P5N32-E SLI ~ 375
ASUS Striker ~356

IF YOU ARE POSTING AN FSB ACHIEVED WITH A LOWER MULTIPLIER THAN 9 PLEASE CLARIFY

If you already did please let me know so I can make a note
More importantly make sure and post your x9 also

IP35 pro 480fsb (B3 x3220)

Still in process of finding max fsb but so far that looks to be about it on this one. Ofcourse it is probably due to the cpu and not the mobo.

ASUS Commando (965P)

I have reached 457 FSB, I don't think this is a wall, I just haven't tried to go any higher, but I doubt I could hit 475 FSB.

EDIT : I couldn't make up my mind between the Commando or P5N32-E SLI, and only went with the 965P chipset because there were reported SATA RAID issues with the early 680i revisions. Looks like I got lucky with my choice.

You may wanna put whether its B3 or G0 as the B3 have a far lower fsb walls usually from what I have scene. I am sure my board could go higher with a G0 if I had one to try on it.

Just an idea.

yes I thought abuot it but I want to keep it clean and 100% about the different MoBo's abilities to clock Quads. I am assuming a G0 would see the same FSB's or higher, so I'll keep that there till we get a member posting about a higher FSBs reached on the same MoBo...

There I re-worded the title, see where I'm going with it? What do you think?

Yeah I dont want you to necessarily change it because of me its your thread. It just seems that B3 and G0 are such different beast and it can change the results by a long shot.

I think we jsut need to get more epople posting in here. Its a pretty good idea.

yea... this is by no means a bench thread Max... just an informative for those planning on going Quad since we seem to have a very different type of chip in terms of MoBo requirements.

I am also looking around to see what's best, so I thought I'd do this for all of us who are still looking.
