Is the XFX 680i the same as the old (pre A1) EVGA 680i?
I've got the p30 bios, but is the fact that it is pre A1 the reason that i cant get the fsb up to 1333? (or is that the cpu?). I tried this with the fsb:ram unlinked, and RAM underclocked to 800 from 1066, so its not the RAM. Am i stuck to near stock speeds because of the mobo?

I stumbled onto a post by DuckieHo discussing this Vista sidebar gadget. The one I am using is the Everest Meter. But now there is a similar one that uses Speedfan. The problem with Everest Ultimate is that you have to pay for it. Speedfan 4.33 has the GPU temps doesnt it? Anyway here is a link to the site: The Hobby Lounge
Everest Meter Speedfan Meter Here is the link to their downloads page As for the labeling, well you'll see when you open it up, there are text boxes for you to title the temps. Good Luck!

The other mod is to allow higher vcore settings for those using extreme cooling such as liquid nitrogen.

aight thx.
__________________cpuz is a decent cpu voltage monitor right? cuz im setting my core at 1.36 i think and cpuz says 1.23 is that actual droop or jsut software bad monitoring. speedfan says its 1.6 but its got all my settings wrong. unless my fans have learned to go -10000rpm and my core is at 124C lol. btw this mod for evga only or can i do it to my mobo(see sig)

Well there is what many refer to as Vdrop, which is the actual reported vlotage using CPUZ vs the bios setting. This is different with every board, even among the same model. I have 1.3v set in bios, but CPUZ and speedfan both show it as 1.28v when I am in windows. CPUZ is pretty acurate as long as you are using the latest 1.41 version.

Well thats the first time I've seen voltage being reported wrong with CPUZ 1.41. I've never seen the actual vcore in windows reported higher then the bios. That is strange indeed!
