What about SPP voltage? That is your northbridge and will need 1.4v or 1.5v when overclocking.

My first attempt was 400 1:1 1600 x8 for 3.2Ghz. timing: 5.5.5.15 2t/ vCore: 1.38, 1.34 no vdrooop. vRam: 2.1 vNB: 1.5 auto, auto. orthos stable past 11 hours. so i went up to 450 1:1 1800 x8 for 3.6Ghz./ same timing and voltage. stable past 8.5hrs. didn't stop, i stopped it.. temps get to around 60c load. on air. how much further should i go? i guess i need to start playing with ratios now? i can't get crysis demo to run at all.. stock timing or no. i get about to actually see some game play and it hangs completely. hard restart. btw i settled for 400 1:1 1600 for 3.2. 4.4.4.12.1t

Just got over what I think was a fsb hole at 400mhz and booted to 412.5 x 8 for 3.3ghz. I had to get up to 1.45vcore to boot into windows and I notice my vcore fluctuates alot. I need to do the pencil trick and try that. I haven't tested it yet but I'm not sure it will hold looking voltage.
I did validate it though: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=343972 be back after some stress testing! well that didn't take long, rebooted as soon as I started orthos. I can run at 2.8 so easily with very low volts, a sweet spot I guess. I decided to try the pencil mod on my LT and it helped alot! I still have a little vdrop but it's stable now, I'm at 1.3375 in bios and 1.31 in speedfan, cpuz and it never fluctuates even under load!! Next time I open my case I will give it another pass with the #2. I was able to game all night last night at 3.0ghz and now feel I can go higher. Everything was great but after a couple hours of COD4, had a BSOD with something about a hardware failure? weird. Back to 2.8ghz lol 1400fsb is a sweet spot it seems, runs so cool at 2.8, idles 28 loads cod4 at 34. ok 3.0ghz almost 1hr OCCT stable, max temp 48, vcore 1.29 after vdroop. Not bad for now! ok 1 hr. OCCT complete, attached pics of graphs

is there some kind of guide to tell what fsb voltage you need to run what fsb? like 1.4 is needed to run anything over 400fsb.

Yeah, it doesnt take a lot of lead. But if you put on too much, just wipe it off and try again. If you put on too much, the vcore will increase under load.
