Need some quick advice.
I'm about to order an 8800GTS and a 680i SLI motherboard. Should I get: Evga (A1) OR ASUS P5N32-E I'll really only need one of these boards to do 400FSB, maybe 450 if my chip can take it.

EVGA if you're going to overclock a quad.
If not, it's a toss up.

evga, i've dealt with both RMA departments and tech supports, EVGA is superior by far.

They are very close, I would recommend the Asus P5N32-E mostly because of the "little" nice features it has. The locations of plugins, and the cooling abilities are what I would recommend over it.

I wouldn't get an nForce-based motherboard unless you plan on going SLI, but if you do, or if you insist on an nForce motherboard, then the eVGA A1 is by far the best nForce 680i motherboard.

rofl, it's sad but true. every single time i've called ASUS's tech support (only to get a case number, not for actual tech support) it's someone i can barely understand, and i'm bilingual! their rma depo is even worse, nothing but short tempered women who do nothing to help!
evga, very kind, composed, very helpful, even sent me free video games and paid for my RMA shipping for time they caused me! evga ftw
