I wish I had your chip. I would up the CPU voltage to 1.48. The northbridge voltage I would also set to at least 1.4v. The others I will have to check later.

Phil... I'm assuming that you have GSILL HZ's. in that case.... set the VDIMM ( Vdram) to 2.3, the vcore to +100. ...., the nb voltage to 1.41, and you might have to set the final % ( i forget what it's called ) to .61% instead of .69%---- there's a relationship between it and the nb voltage tht I don't really understand, but it might make a difference.....
The GSKILL d9's are voltage -hungry chips..... they can easily go to 2.4, but be aware that if they're older d9's ( read more than 6 moths old), they will eventually require more and more voltage to boot if they haven't had an spd flash...... You have the cooling power to handle all this... run coretemp and SmartGuardian together to get a hold on the temps...

Bob... I just don't see a real strong upside to flashing the BIOS at this point... I've seen accounts of too many failed BIOS flashes at this point to see advising a BIOS flash ( I can't seem to get a floppy to work on this board... tried three seperate floppys.. go figure....). I think a Flash Drive flash might well work, but be sure to save your current BIOS just in case...... long and short of it... not enough upside and too much downside for a flash at this point........remember, this is DFI's budget board, so they're not real forthcoming with support..........

thanks. ill probably just stick with the default bios then. i also noticed that there is less support for it than the LP at DFI club.

sorry for the multiple posts , guys, but there's a lot to be learned at DFI Club support.

good find, Bob,... but that's really for the UT ( Lanparty ) board. Only experimentation will tell if it holds true for the BloodIron ( the options are a litle more limited for us).
