dude bump up that voltage. youre only at 37 ish. you can go up to 50 load safely. after that its iffy

I realize that I can be at 60c at load safely. When running Orthos, I reached 57c load with the listed 1.52v. The screenshot shows you an idle temp after completing the super PI calculation.

Running a better heatsink would do you wonders. I max out on 38 load with 3.3ghz. granted its only about 1.4 volts instead, but the temp difference just seems too much. Ambients around 70 f.

Actually using 1.52v with a 57c is pretty good, esp. considering I am using the GeminII. I am actually appreciating the fact that it cools the board as well. Voltage plays the most critical role in heat since you are pumping more electricity through the CPU. I am planning on watercooling anyway.

what chipset does this have? im changing mobos soon and was suggested this one. either this or the IP 35 pro

It uses the P35 chipset with the ICH9R southbridge. That means it also supports RAID just like the Abit IP 35 Pro.
