Guys, I think i did ask about this a long time ago in this thread, but never got a response. I was wondering if the Corsair tri-fan memory cooler will fit? Right now, I have a el-chepo memory cooler that is very loud, and i was looking to get a new one....thought the corsair one would be my best bet, but i needed to know if it fit. The PCI-express slot is so close to the memory that my current memory cooler is touching the gfx card.

If the Tuniq tower is really close to the northbridge do any coolers fit under it? I was looking into getting a Thermalright HR-05. What kind of cooling would i get if I just strapped a little fan to the northbridge?

Same here....think about if you want to void the warranty before you go and buy aftermarket NB cooling. Also, just securing a 40 or 60mm fan would give you much lower temps probably. My temps haven't gone much past 50-52C so far...

Default Here is my solution to the northbridge problem.

I hot glued an old CPU fan (from an Athlon XP) to the northbridge heatsink. If I need to RMA, I just have to pry it off. You need to make sure that the fan is exhaust toward the heatsink and that there is enough clearance between the fan and your videocard.
This simple solution dropped my northbridge temperatures (according to Smart Guardian) by 8 degrees C!
I only wish that every computer problem could be solved this easily.

Good solution to the NB. For all of those reading, the NB does not have a heat issue, but if you do want something to help cool it, this is a great idea.

I would like to see a QX9650, and see how the OC goes on those new 45nm chips on the P35's...

Going from other chipsets, it is probably "safe" under 100C. ExXXtreme overclocking may need better cooling to squeeze every ounce of MHz out of it though.
