I know this is probably a stupid question, but I gotta ask it. When you get to the screen to install the driver during the OS install, areyou picking the correct option? It gives you 4 options and the 1 that is highlighted isn't the 1 you should choose, you need to choose the last option. It gives 2 options that include ICHR9(if I remember correctly), it's the bottom option that you're supposed to use.

I have the same prolem with my MF. I managed to do fresh installs of vista x86 and x64 on RAID 0 with no problems and no need for extra driver disks, but when trying to install XP it just blue screens then reboots after installing the drivers, right at the point where it tries to detect hard drives, despite there being other non-RAID HDDs available to install on. I've tried both the 362 and 363 versions of the driver that's supplied with the motherboard, but neither one works.

Can you please give a detailed explanation on how you went about installing the raid, There seems to be alot of confusion on this matter with this board. I too have this board coming in the mail and hoping to sort this out before it gets here.

If you could please detail as much as you can, including the raid setup, the OS installation the driver installation, the hard drive initialization if applicable, and bios settings etc.

The lengthy Extreme forums concurr with Ericeod use his provided attachments.
quicky answer-for satori- as not to hijack Jo's RAID thread

When dual booting XP/Vista you need to do XP First, There's a great thread about the hows and whys in the OS forum-Cheers
And welcome to OCN satori, Stay for a while, look around and learn!
Back to thread in progress:
JoeB's RAID probs (which should be solved.)
