Default bios booting questions

i update my bios recently and when i boot , my bios show me "count 2" beside my cpu speed .
what that mean.
is that ram count or cpu cores?
can someone help me with this

My ASUS P5E says the same thing, but I thought it was for the cores. Since you have a Q6600, I could be wrong. That is a good question though. I'll see if I can find anything.

I found a thread with someone reporting the same problem here.

I would recommend running the task manager and see how many CPU workload graphs it displays.

Maybe a BIOS update would fix it? If everything is working properly in your computer, theres nothing to fret over.
