Also, big vdroop on this board (~0.1v). There's a pencil mod out there, I'll have to look into it further. My maximus had an option in BIOS to remedy vdroop. Hopefully something like that will happen here.

Installation went without a hitch. I've been trying to upload pics into OCN but the server issues are making it difficult.

One thing I noticed immediately is that I need less vcore for overclocks. I run day to day at 3.46 (13x multi only) which typically needs 1.4 vcore for stability. I now only need 1.3825. Not a big difference but at higher overclocks may be important.

Also the NB fan is seriously loud. I'm going to have to figure out a way to put some sort of aftermarket cooler on it. Apparently the chipset needs it (even though the Asus 780i board is going to be passively cooled).

A major annoyance is board layout. The USB connector headers, firewire header and front panel connectors are in seriously bad spots. If you use a case with a removable motherboard tray and plan to pre-install your video cards and sound cards - don't. Otherwise you will be pretty much pooched in hooking up wires. Also the usb headers pretty much guarantee that the LCD poster will be blocked by their wires.

Otherwise the board has been very solid

I'll keep trying to get pics in. I also have bios shots ready.

I have yet to start the jumble of testing and monitoring, but would like to do so tomorrow when I continue the project.

Are you using the Nvidia software, or another program?

and its working perfectly. a few of the voltages are a bit off but no biggie.

combine that with everest beta i'm using.
