not sure and i did read that review but imo not sure how possible for every day retail chips that they will achieve those speeds with a quad. i really really like this mobo do not get me wrong but for a 4 layer mobo with a 4 phase pwm psu to be stable i do have to qustion the chip he had must have been a hell of a chip.. again i love this mobo and will recc to anyone ...

he tested on every other p35 mobo and only got around 480FSB

Quote:
]I used this QX6800 CPU OC with most P35 boards in the market, it gained around FSB470~480.
Although the highest record with quad-core almost reached 484MHz.

It is hard to imagine that this DK series board can push the FSB limitation to another level. It rocks me.
Hope these 3 version of DK series can be satisfied enthusiast as a different choice!!
and 4 phase pwn does not matter as much as people say

its not really bad

fact is quad fsb is amazing

32M pi pretty stressfull and good first test @ 522fsb,

but really 4 phase pwn is so overused, it is not really bad at all, if it was u wouldent be able to sustain yet boot 522fsb 4 cores

and blood iron is very entry level

Hehehehe.

Translation:

Good first test of SuperPi @ 522mhz FSB.

4 phase PWM is not as bad as everybody says. If it was you wouldn't be able to sustain your overclock and the system would crash.

DFI Blood Iron is considered an entry level board.

Clear as mud?

This may be a dumb question, but why are Japanese caps better than solid caps? I thought solid caps are supposed to be better? Or are they Japanese solid caps?
