Must not take much to run a dual core cause im running my e6600@3750 1.47 vcore and my chipset and pwm never gets to 40c. On my old ip35-e my chipset and pww would get into the 60s sometimes.

Quads see quite an increase in their system temp when stressing ~47c or so on my setup.

so i think i've pushed my cpu further than 3.2

right now i'm at 3.4 (425x8) with a +112.5mV on the vcore. vtt at 1.27 nb 1.33v vdimm 2.1

and i'm loading about 57~64c. i think thats too hot, but i'm planning on getting a scythe infinity (mugen) and lapping it and doing a pressure mod.

You won't need it to get the E8400 to 4.0GHz

Yeah, I don't like my Zalman either. I think it's the only thing holding me back from 3.6+. What voltage does +112.5mV read for you idle/load?

MosIncredible: right now i'm stressing my cpu through occt, but its reading me for load; vcore 1.39. i'm about to post a thread in the 'air coolers' section. i'll edit this to show my idle voltage.

IDLE
vcore thru occt & cpuid hw 1.41

LOAD

Yes its for vdroop. You might not need it however for stability it helps a lot and its so simple to do that I recommend everyone do it really.

Don't worry about that voltage thing. For some reason I thought you had a Q6600. Too tired right now. I still stand by my Zalman statement though. I top out at 58c with 1.248v load [MX-2, first attempt]. Used to get up to 65c when I used AS5, no matter how I applied it. 3.6GHz sends me up to 70c which is out of my comfort zone.

Edit: Post a little late lol

Check out the thread in the voltmod forum or look at the one in the OP. You take a #2 pencil or better (see voltmod thread) and litterally draw where the picture says too, in effect bridging the two sides.
