This is your Memory BIOS Screen, right? Well no, it' mine, but yours is the same, yes?

Ok so what happens when you leave this set to auto when you change your FSB?

What i do, is change my RAM speed to a lower value, then up the CPU FSB. This upping of the FSB causes the RAM speeds to increase. With a bit of luck, you'll be able to increase your CPU FSB enough to make the RAM speeds as close to 800 as possible. Try changing all the memory speed options, see which one gives you the closest to 800Mhz when you're at your chosen CPU overclock.

Y'get me? I'm not the best at explanations.

edit - also, jumping from 200 to 230 FSB seems a little much if you ask me. I'd go 10/15 at a time.

I went by 10 Mhz, not 30 in one try. I will try tommorow, too tired now.

I am busting my head with the cooler still. I very much like the dual orb from Thermaltake. I believe it has a hight but the mounting brackets are a question. Here is the picture from the side.

Equipment

Some other board, but just to get visual idea.

That looks as though it mght fit this board, but don't quote me on that.

If you've got the money, the Noctua cooler is a great choice.

Just wondering if anyone can answer this definitively.

Will this board work with a 533mhz fsb celeron? I have the opportunity to pick one up rather cheaply and i am tempted to let the dfi stretch its legs.

You dont. CPU FSB and RAM speeds are in totally different menus.

See? CPU Clock is what you want to be changing to alter the CPU FSB. Your FSB will determine your RAM speed.

If you go find this screen in your BIOS, and pop down until the CPU Clock is highlighted, and press the + or - keys a few times, you'll see the Tartget CPU Clock change (CPU Speed), and you will also see the RAM speed changing, in accordance with the CPU change.

I'm terrible at explaining things, but i think you'll get it once you have a play around.
