this board is VERY VERY strict with ram, some days it will work with settings, the next day it wont with the same settings. It doesnt matter if i apply 2.075v or 2.35v, my reapers will not go above 1180Mhz on this board. I think its the mobo, not your ram

I am contacting OCZ about the issue, we'll see what happens.

Well, it seems that OCZ offered little help in regards to detailed timings for the Ram so I have come to the conclusion that these sticks are bad and I'm RMA'ing them. If the second set doesn't work, then I know that these sticks are NOT able to run at 1066 on this board.
Does ANYONE have ANY sticks (2x2GB) running at 1066 on this board. Please let me know what Bios settings are. I need ALL the info I can get!!!

Gskill F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ, ddr2 1000 in sig.
__________________@ 2.1V: 5-5-5-15, FSB = 355 (3/2 x (355)) x 2 = 1.065K That is what it WILL run at with a FSB = 355. However, I am not currently running at that, I am at 916 ram speed now, because I have FSB @ 460, and I havn't been able to get the GSKILL 1120, yet. I obviously am not running them (the ram) higher, so I can run the processor much higher. But they will run 1066. Does that answer your question?

Not really, considering I was trying to get OCZ sticks to run at THEIR rated speeds, but thanks for the info.

hello guys
__________________can somebody please tell me what can I do after a failed attempt of BIOS update on a DFI DK P35-T2? I just bought the board yesterday and I decided to update the BIOS first. I made an usb stick bootable, copied the BIOS files on it and plugged it into an usb slot. after system was powered-on, it booted from the stick and the update begun. my "luck" was that the system restarted just at the end of the progress "bar" (or whatever do you guys call those little squares turning white from gray as the BIOS files are flashed into the motherboard BIOS). now, when I power-on the mainboard, all the vents are spinning, the power leds are lit, but I get no post, no bips from the speaker, nothing. before I started the update procedure, I loaded the default settings in BIOS and after the failed update I tried several times to clear the CMOS (from the EZ switch and from the jumpers). the decision of the BIOS update was taken after a couple of random restarts of the system just after the operating system was installed (plus another restart while in BIOS). The temperatures were ok, I tested the memory with the memtest bootable CD and it appeared to be fine, so I thought maybe the board needs a BIOS update.

Pull out your CMOS battery, unplug power going to the PSU and wait 10-15 minutes. See if that helps at all and post back with results.

well, this Ram is simply not fully compatible with this board. Can't get it to rated speeds...oh well!
