What were your settings? If I reset the CMOS and boot into Bios, my CPU registers 1.08v, but after I Load CMOS from saved bank (no voltage increases at all) it then shows 1.29v....***???????????????

Are you having the same issues with the voltages as I am Blue?

It's like I just hit a huge wall at 4Ghz (471x8.5). No matter what I throw at it voltage wise, it will not be stable at any higher frequencies.

Which Bios are you using Blue?
Also, has anyone else had any good news or bad news with their 45nm Quad Core CPU's and this mobo? I'm at a loss in reference to this VID thing, cause I'm 95% sure that this board is reading the VID incorrectly.

ok i have my e8400 45nm not a quad but still may go with this. when i was overclocking and messing with a few settings there was one time that i ended having my VID being read as 1.12xxxv or something like that but changing it back it went to 1.25v. i forgot wat it was but was kinda cool. i was also reading the vid in real temp

all i know is that i got my e8400 to 4ghz with a vcore of 1.38 and drops on load to 1.36
BTW: dont trust speedfan on that stuff. try HWmoniter, realtemp or core temp http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/ http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
