Yeah, me too Blue. I dunno....I was able to make a 3DMark06 Run at 3.99
 ...didn't fair well with Prime95 though

Just an FYI for everyone here. The Xigmatek Dark Knight does not fit without modifying the NB heatsink. I had to cut the HS in order to mount my new Dark Knight.
Simply took a hacksaw and hacked off the top that has the LanParty Logo on it. Aluminum shown through so I spray painted it back to Black and all was well. Looking for a small fan that will fit over it now to keep things cooler cause I'm about to pump alot of volts through the NB so I can achieve an insane FSB....gotta have more out of this Quad.

get a xigmatek porter nb cooler. fits like a charm.
   Since I'm selling my Dark the Porter is also for sale. Original packaging, instructions and all hardware just like new. I'll post up later this weekend.

Does anyone know what the stock RAM voltage is set to on these boards? I just bought some new RAM and it occurred to me that I might be under-volting it.
__________________EDIT: nevermind I got it. Not used to bios actually telling you the real voltage. Kinda nice. =)

Hey guys... I've been using the onboard sound since I got this but I do own a
Creative SOUND BLASTER X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card. Now should I be using this sound card, or is it all right to sell it and keep using the onboard sound? |
