yeah from what sean at dfi said this board was optimized for quad cores.. you do know he said there is a bios available specifically for quads.. he said it was on the web site

Well, considering that this board is now cheaper than the Blood Iron is, I'm seriously considering this one

The Darkness!(just noticed this thread, so here it is again)
 This board is so worth the few extra bucks over the BI. I had one which died due to overheated fets. The addition of the sinks should fix the problem now. I also love the pwr/rst buttons on the board, as I'm tired of shorting pins. Not to mention the black pcb...My pc finally matches now! I say this board is worth every dollar.

Let me re-state that comment, how many fan connectors do you have on the board? I see 5 from that pic above, that means 1 is for cpu the rest are system.. any more than that?

I see one 4 pin PWM fan, and three 3 pin. If that's even what you mean.
