Well, my problem turned out to be RAM. And get this, it was one of the older double sided ones. Looks like I join the Crucial RMA club. Next month I am going to get some 2x2gb sticks.

My IP35 Pro has a hard time pulling 500+ on my E6750. =/ I'm seriously looking at the Q6700 and its 10x multi to help ease up those high FSB.

Hey dude,
I hit 550+ on mine,
and if u buy a q6700 wait for a few more weeks, they are supposed to drop the sub $300 level

what voltage did you have your sticks running at?

In the deals section, it was on sale for 540, and more than one person kept saying the price was supposed to drop to sub 300,
id wait even if its not true, its worth it to wait a couple weeks if u can save 200 dollars

yeah im gunna wait at least till mid april anyway. i heard alot of intel's stuff is going to drop in price then but that would be fantastic if that chip dropped under $300. I would love to throw it on this DFI board to see what i could get for speed.

what voltage did you have your sticks running at?

well, I had them running at 2.3v, 1095, 5-5-5-15, 2t for a few months in my DS3L. Were memtest stable. When I switched to the DFI, I added 2 sticks of the new single sided and ran all 4 at 880, 5-5-5-18, 2.2v. I am honestly surprised as, even at 2.3v, they should have been fine. Besides, they didn't die until I had them running in the DFI for a couple weeks.



edit: I am planning on getting a Q6600 for this board once I have some more cash.
