Yep. I don't like to take chances when flashing a BIOS.

I rebooted into the bios and loaded optimzed defaults effectively removing my OC. Then loaded the cd into my drive restarted again and booted from the CD. then found the BIOS I wanted (just follow the menus) double clicked on it and the CD did the rest. Once the BIOS was done flashing I rebooted again (had no choice) but as BIOS was loading I shut down and reset the CMOS per instructions on the CD. Once that was done I booted back into the BIOS and set my OC back up manually (DO NOT use CMOS Reloaded settings from a previous BIOS). Then saved settings to CMOS Reloaded (overwrote the bank that had the OC saved from the old BIOS).

No problem. BTW if you download the CD it comes as an ISO (compressed into an RAR file). If you don't have anything that will burn ISO's download THIS. It's a plugin for windows that allows you to burn them. After installing it just right click the ISO and select "burn image to CD" and the CD will be created for you.

Hey what kind of temps is everybody getting on the south bridge? so I can figure out what is normal.

i havent flashed yet. just sold my spare board and im waiting to get my rma'd blood iron back. just incase something goes wrong(who knows?) i want to have a backup.
