My PC won't even boot up or POST right now, let alone read from a flash drive.

I've gotten a little info but I can't guarantee it.

Some people have said they ran a E8400 w/ the DK P35 out of the box.

Can't guarantee it!

Thanks Sonic, I believe by now most new mobos that have the proper chipset should support the 45nm structure out of the box. I got mine nearly a month ago though. I'm sure it depends on how old the stock is from certain suppliers....

I have received and installed my DK P35-T2RS last night.

Didnt have much time to test it but I was quickly able to overclock the Q6600 higher than with my P5B. It ran Prime95 all night at 3.7ghz and it's stable. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to reach 3.8 but after that, I'll have heat issues (that makes me thinking of switching to water ).

One thing to note is that the Tuniq Tower is a very thight fit onto this MB. It is not possible to mount it so it blows the air upward because some caps are very close to the top of the CPU socket.

I mounted it the old fashion way, fan blowing toward the rear of the case. Also, I needed to modify the mounting bracket to make it fit, otherwise it was making contact with the MOSFET heatsink.

So far, I love this board. vdroop is not too bad too.

cheers!

I took a jigsaw with a metal blade and cut off the K8 screw hole on the H bracket. You need to do this only on the side that goes close to MOSFET heatsink (see attached picture, cut where the red line is). Pretty easy mod.

Also, take care because to lower part of the fan will make contact with the top of the Northbridge heatsink.

yes i installed it without modifying the fan.

The fan bracket is touching the top of NB heatsink but it dont seems to prevent good contact between the IHS and the TT base. You may want to file the bracket a little bit if you want to be on the safe side.
