Does this have the CMOS reloaded?

How about a removable BIOS chip?

Well, would've loved the removable BIOS chip. So...........I went ahead and ordered one anyway. Should be here by mid next week. Hopefully if all goes well it's gonna rock with the E8400 and D9GMH RAM.

Hmm, so I got the rig up and running today. Hit the 4ghz as predicted, and all seems well.

One thing that I noticed, is that the board gives of a weird sound when stressing at anything past 3.6.. Not sure how to describe it, but my BI did the same thing and then died. Right now I'm stressing 3.6@1.480V bios, drooped to 1.420V.

I decided to not water cool the NB for now, until I figure what that sound is... I hope this will survive a bit longer than the BI. My chipset right now is at 71C, and PWM at 69C... The cooling is still crap on this board.

Get a fan on that NB cooler, 71c is way to high unless like the dark the chipset temp is actually down in the lower left corner of the mobo. Get a little fan and play with it moving it around the mobo and find out where it drops the temp at then that will show you where the temp sensor is at. Not sure on this mobo but your gpu fan could be blowing air right onto it.

my P5-D was a decent performer, although I really expect this DK P35 to out do it! Thanks!

It's kind of like a medium pitched squeal... if you know what i'm saying.

Well I got the nb temp down to about 49c(front case/rad fan was off). The pwm temp is at 57C now, which is still high. I guess I need to close up my case to get proper air flow.

Oh and my gpu is not blowing air on anything, as it's water cooled.

I was wondering last night if I should add cooling for the NB.

What would be acceptable temps for the NB and PWM?

I have been running Prime95 for 12 hours now at 475mhz FSB and my NB temps hover between 48C and 53C. PWM is steady at 43C.

thanks
