I just built a rig for my nephew using this board and I'm confused as to why the chip set reads 650i in cpuid and not 750i. I've downloaded the latest bios, drivers and all that. Is this normal?

The rest of his specs:
E6400
2gig Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800
WD 250 SATAII 16mb
Corsair 620 psu
XP Pro SP2

i have one the 750i is just like the 780i, the only dif. is that it doesnt have a 3way sli, and not pc9600 support.. max is pc6400.. but I think its just waste to buy 780i exept if your going to have 3graphicscards:P but ho can afford that?:P this board has great overclocking features, like unlinked mode. put my q6600 up to 3,1ghz with stock cooling! no problems at all! its the best motherboard i ever owned!

go4life what NB, HT, and SB did you use for 3.6ghz with the q6600. I have the same board (P5N-D) and am currently at 3.195 with my q6600 and would love to push it up a little more. If you have the v-core, NB, HT, and SB for 3.4ghz could you please post that too. Thanks!

Thanks, I'll be trying those when i get home. I don't care if it's stable because I plan on using it only for Futuremark and PCmark runs. :P Right now my system is stable at 3.0ghz with 1.3125 v-core 1.24 NB 1.24 HT and 1.5 SB. I've only had it at 3.195ghz for suicide runs. Now 3.6ghz may be possible.

Sometimes I dont even get to go trough 3dmark:P but if you dont get trough 3dmark, just higher the vcore a little bit^^ *cough 1.58v cough*

But remember, this is a VERY high vcore, so dont push it!

Have fun

G04LIFE What happened to the motherboard that you have to RMA it. Anything I should watch out for with mine?
