You might need more vCore if the chip is getting old. I think my sig rig is going, keeps randomly rebooting and locking up

I've had the chip for a few months now. We Gone helped me out, I'd reset the CMOS with the button, but not with the battery. I took out the battery for a few minutes and it was fine!

How long have you had your chip now?

(Random solution): Maybe you need to change the button battery of your board. Can freeze or reboot the system if it's empty.

i have couple of problems though,
how come when i turn off my computer, my mouse and keyboard are still on?
and the 750i FTW always has like a blue light on inside right?

when i start the computer, why does it always say floppy drive fail or something and i have to hit f1 to continue and Del to go setup or something?

can someone please help?

You have to disable the floppy drive in your bios, I think that's the first question everyone asks here

Not sure about your mouse and keyboard though, the blue light stays when I switch mine off too though, I think it does anyway, I can't check right now, my rig is out of action D;

Oh and Merry Christmas ;]

The USB stays powered up on the board, might be able to change it in the BIOS. my Eclipse stays lit up like a floodlight at night

I'll Pull the CMOS battery out and test it with a Multi-meter when I upgrade after Christmas

And yeah to disable the floppy error, set it as not present.

^ oh, haha
thanks guys,

now i only have the mouse and keyboard problem? what the hell right?
when i turn off my computer everything is turned off,
but the laser on my mouse and the green lights on my keyboard are still on, that is really weird.

is it because my mouse and keyboard is connected through the classic way? through the circle things instead of USB? do ppl connect their mouse and keyboards through USB nowadays?

Mostly yes. That is still a very weird problem though. However I have never used a PS/2 mouse or keyboard that has had lights so I'm not sure if I would have had that problem...

What are your other voltages at, and what CPU multiplier/FSB?
