Hmm well in my case it think the upper card have better flow than the lower one. The Antec P182 kills SLi...

People have gotten it to 4.0+ GHz

3.6GHz is not bad at all for your first OC. Keep us posted!

i think you need a fan near the sli area. I used to have one in the back which worked wonders. now i have a lian li fan assembly on the side. even with a pci wireless card the temps are pretty low.

Do you guys think an Antec Tricool 80mm in place of the stock NB fan would be quieter/more efficient? If so, should it be plugged into the mobo, or via molex/PSU?

Don't matter. I think you can plug that fan in where the normal NB fan goes and be fine. You can adjust the speed from the BIOS too.

That's true. I'm just wondering if it will be quieter than the stock one cause that thing is pretty damn loud, and it's that high pitched loud that could drive a man crazy.

Check the sig "ek 780i block." That NB fan was going to be the death of me if I didn't replace it. By far the loudest thing in my system even at 60%!!!! I think that Tricool will be much better. Should push more air and at lower volume.

Nice. I'm wondering if I just reseat the NB/SB cooler with some AS5 would reduce temps. Only thing about aftermarket NB fans is they have to be ghetto rigged with zip ties or rubber band

Your setup looks real clean though, love the color scheme. Similar to mine:

micro, i used to have a 3200rpm 60mm fan on the nb. at full speed the nb was around 40-44 c. it had noticeable volume.

i replaced it with a delta 6000rpm fan, at 3800 rpm the nb is around 37-38 c, while i hear nothing from it.

At 4500-6000 rpm.. the nb goes to around 30- 27c

its connectd to my kaze fan controller.
