Yeah, they look fine. Id say its something else, cant really see anything that would cause concern about it being unstable...

If you had done a vdroop mod, you may want to try re doing it, maybe the lead is wearing out...

But its giving a specific error, which the evga guru's will be more capable of trouble shooting.... I just know the simple stuff... fail stress = add more volts

yours doesn't appear to be an overclock issues, even tho when you take the OC off it doesn't do it..

I had a rig that would onl boot up when laying on its side try trouble shooting that one... I took it apart 10 times and went as far as covering the whole back of the case with electrical tape. Put a diff cpu in, and it stopped, wierd thing is the cpu I took out is the one I am still using and its stable 24/7

I haven't done the vdroop mod, I didn't really want to mess around with it too much.

I'll post on their forums and see what they can come up with, thanks for the suggestion.

Haha, Yeah. I was thinking of that though, 'cause it wasn't stable, I was thinking the vCore may be too low? The thing is though, it's been stable for months.

the pencil mod is really easy to apply. Plus, it's 100% removable.

i should be getting my q9550 in a couple of hours (c'mon postal service!). looking forward to seeing what this board can do. the goal is 3.8, but 4 would be amazing. I bought this little guy on ebay for $235 shipped. no way I could pass that up. especially with all the great rts games coming out this quarter. those extra cores shine under those circumstances.

I got a BSOD on BOOT again, even with my system at stock. Man, to be honest, I've had nothing but problems with this board.

Have you run mem test?

I suggest doing it from boot, You can burn it to cd and boot from cd. Leave only one mem stick in, and test it. If it passes, test it in all 4 memory slots. This will determine if a mem slot is bad or not. If all goes well, test your othe memory you only need to do it once for the rest cause you have already tested the mem slots.

http://www.memtest86.com/

Thats my best suggestion to begin with.

Also if its happening only at windows boot up it could be an issue with your OS. Have you re formated lately or updated display and motherboard drivers?

Just some things that may help...

Also if you have had nothing but troubles with that board, RMA it. evga is usually really good with that, and I have had nothing but success with mine so it may just be a buggy board.

yeah you will love the Q...

hopefully you can hit 3.8, it would bet 1750 FSB with an 8.5 multi not sure the exact freq that would put your Q9550 at but it would be around 3.8...

well my proc wasn't delivered yesterday, but should be today. usps tracker showed "arrival at unit" since yesterday morning but I guess the postman felt like making me wait another day.

I've been contemplating adding another aaks for a raid 0 setup. anyone have any experience with raid on this board? any issues I should be aware of?
