If I want to go to 3,40, wouldn't be so hard, except for that hole, I have to increase SOOOO much the Vcore. Near 1,45v, just to post.

Does any BIOS solve that?

--

Btw, I just noticed I wrote a few times "voltage" with J instead of G. In my language is with J, so, I usually mistook the word. Hope you don't care

yup thats exactly what is happening to me,

i am 100% stable at 3.21GHz at 1.325Vcore but if i want to get to 3.30GHz i have to go up to 1.45Vcore just to get it to boot, maybe its this MoBo?

edit: right now i got it to boot up at 3.50GHz and the Vcore is 1.38 im running P95 now then ill do OCCT to see if its stable, maybe i just have a hole in that FSB area where it wont boot or something

I solved my unstability using the stock latency and frecuency of the RAMs. They were totally stable at 3,20, but seems that at 3,60 the memory controller of the Northbridge have a problem with tight timings.

I'm kinda stable (just a few touches more) at 3,60, 1,480 vcore on load and 1,506 in BIOS. 1,35 FSB and 1,55 SPP (too high?)

Apex, my VID is much higher than yours, and we're just at 0.1v of difference, every chip is unique but well... Try something as 1,43 (near my 1,48) and try to boot up at 3,60GHz. Use same voltage settings for the mobo and set timings on "auto", maybe that's the problem.

My GTL is 105, 110, 100, 105 (lane 0, 1, 2, 3), maybe it can help you. Worked for me, in the same CPU I don't think them are too far from mines.

Good luck!

ok cool thanks i will give that a try!

right now my ram is at 1066 with 5-5-5-15 timing and at 2.1V(calls for 2.1-2.2) which is what the ram is specified for, do you think i should change it? i never messed with the timing any other way then what it calls for

i wont be home for about 10 hours lol

I know this is the overclocking thread for the 750i. but it's also allll about the 750i and most of you have one.

Anyways, I have the 750i FTW. and the little fan on the NB is now the loudest part, now I've gone water. So I want to replace it. But I don't want to cool all the NB, SB, and Mosfets all with water. and since it's all one metal part. I probably wont do it at all.

So does anyone have any suggestions for how I can cool my NB with a better, quieter fan. Should I just get a 60mm x10mm fan and attach it somehow?? and if you've done this already please show me what you did.

Thanks!

Umh, well. Use 800MHz and 1,80volts. Your rams are ready, but maybe the memory controller is not yet. First, overclock and stabilize CPU, and then, overclock RAM. Will be sooooo much easy and will not give you many headaches (and BSODs).

Give it a try

It might help, you could try loosening the timings up, is it running linked or unlinked?

Ok guys, so I just decided to go with this Mobo, considering I MIGHT want to SLI in the future and just pop another 260 in there Also, I noticed how this one has the convenient LED code display, this way I KNOW what the problem is instead of guessing!

Please tell me I made a good choice in buying this!!!

I really hope it runs well when I get it.
