ya nice cooler , there are a few out there that out do the zalman 9700, cooler for cooler, but my theory is that coupled with an anetc 900 case the orb style will do better than a tower style just because the orb style can benefit better from indirect air flow which a anetc 900 has alot of, i could be totally wrong but thats my thinkin

I just received my board today, still waiting on my q6600 but from what I've read it looks like when I pop in my Gskill DDR2 1066 its going to show up as DDR2 800. So I will just have to adjust mem settings manually right?

I would link the CPU and RAM for a 1:1 synchronous ratio. This lets the BIOS manage your RAM depending on your FSB.

But if you really want it to run at 1066, you can set it manually. Just make sure you give the RAM the voltage it is specced for, and you can try tightening the timings, too.

Good luck with your build and get that system up and running so I can add you to the list!

CPU: Q6600 GO @ 8 x 400 FSB = 3.20GHz
RAM: 4x1gb OCZ XTC @ 800 4-4-4-15 2T
voltages
CPU Core: VID 1.3125 - 1.45 bios (1.42 windows)
CPU FSB: 1.4
Mem: 2.1v
SPP: 1.5v

Testing now....
Had to strip it back down to reinstall TRUE grrrrr...
@ 1600 (that part is confusing me) 400x8 3.20GHz and 1.45v in bios to get me at the 1.42v in windows I was running with my GA 965...

Going to let it run a while like this n stress it some, occt going now, temps at 59/59/51/51 so all is good for now.... really hoping for 3.4-3.6...

As for ram linked/unlinked... new to that so I just unlinked and let my ram run at stock for now, will adjust later...

I seemed to have misplaced my arctic silver. Will the paste that comes with the Tuniq work well enough till I get some more AS?

Im sure it will work just fine for the time being, keep an eye on the temps if your OC'ng.. Also look into OCZ Freeze Paste... No cure time. works as good as AS5, actually the no cure time makes it better IMO
