I am just wondering if HWmonitor is right or evast is right. I am thinking evast since if the NB was at 119 idle I would have all sorts of problems that I just dont have.

Still beating my head against the wall trying to get 3.6 stable. I've found that OCCT's linpack is catching this error in under an hour. This is why it's always good to use multiple tests to determine stabilty for 24/7 OCs. Looks like I'm going back to day one's oc of 3.15Ghz and taking baby steps from there.

Got a feeling a need to fine tune each GTL lane seperatly this time. I lowered all four lanes from 70 to 0 last night and it wouldn't even boot windows. Looks like it's just gonna take some time. Quads are a bit harder on these boards then duals.

with those gtlref lanes find where each one passes then keep adding to them till they fail then put them at the midway between where they pass and where they fail, that way the fluctuating noise that they compensate for won't cause any random errors. it took me a couple days to find the right range of those for my q9550 to be 24/7 stable at 3.82GHz.

Yea, I've read the massive thread at EVGA about tweaking the lanes. It's a really good read if you're OC one of these boards.
