Not sure, I just gave up and used nero showtime... it works fine along with Colel WinDVD9 works fine too...

I know it will struggle with divx playback when scrolling and it takes a while to get started... never tried to pause....

Hello guys. I read about half of this thread. Eyes started to hurt. First time building a cpu from the ground up. See below for what is on its way. Was thinking about overclocking. Not sure how easy it is. I thought I may consider it.

Down to it. Is there anywhere in here someone has Oced with the 750i ftw and the E8500? Please point me in the right direction.

I will probably go back and read some more. Just thought this may be a little quicker.

cant really see the sppedfan one. but realtemp looks like a stuck sensor.

I would suggest reseating it wit a small ammount of either AS5 or OCZ Freeze TIM.

also have you tried coretemp and cpu-z for different programs. In case thats the issue... Id say run all four and whichever seem the most common are correct.

so i have this board and an e6600

i am having a hell of a time getting passed 3.2ghz.

as of right now:
E6600 @ 3.2 with 1.4v
FSB 1425mhz with 1.3v
SPP 1,40v (auto)
NF200 1,20v (auto)
Mem Lincked/synced @ 713 with 1.9v

the batch # on my cpu i hear is horrible for oc(l639a) but i should be able to get past 3.2ghz right?

ps its stable at 3.2, itll boot at 3.6 but fails prime the moment it starts.

well i unlinked, lowered my ram and uped my fsb volts a little and im up to 3.4 ghz runnin prime right now. anyone wanna chime in for any advice?

Then I wouldn't touch it. I tried it, hoping to get my unlocked multiplier back, and ended up going back to SZ17 as these wouldn't take my stable overclock and I didn't feel like playing. Plus my unlocked multiplier was not there either.
