And you pay for this?.

I just don't see the logic behind purchasing a Nvidia based mobo. (less ye be a fanboi) they always seem to have problems. why not spare yourself the endless trouble?. what's it for?, overclockability??. last time i looked a Intel based one was just as good, as well as far more reliable.

My brief experience with the Striker Extreme put me off them for life. (and that was the 680i!) i'll never, make that mistake again - I'd rather hang myself. if computing has taught me anything its always stick with whats popular, familiar and reliable: Seriously, Intel, anyone?.

Judging by people's experiences with the 780i, i have no reason to believe any different.

Both my 8800 GTS died. Saving up for 2 more GTX260.

Turns out, both my 8800GTS 512 is alive, just bad memory from the OCZ reapers, causing me to remove my graphic card to boot up.

Nice to see someone with a positive outlook (sarcasm inserted).

The EVGA 780i in my experience (First member here to have one back in December) is that its a very solid board. I've since built several systems based off of it for friends as well. It is picky with ram and has FSB holes but other than that its light years ahead of the 680i boards (I had the EVGA, Asus striker, asus p5n32-e as well).
