Can anybody say anything for this MSI X48C Platinum?

I like the colors (noobish, I know), But wonder whether its a quality, future-proof, overclocker's board.

right now, it comes down to that Biostar and this MSI

That Biostar board looks pretty sound.

According to the Biostar website, it has 2 x PCI-E x16 2.0 Slot (CFX x8)

However, i'd rather go with that MSI board. It just looks better all around, even if it does cost more.

I really am leaning towards the MSI, simply because it has full x16 x16 CF, but that Biostar P45 is reported to have incredibly high FSB capabilities, like up to 630, albeit with an E8500.

All the same, I'm still torn.

I would really appreciate some more advice, thanks all so far...

bump

does anybody have any suggestions?

I need to make a decision soon, preferably by the end of the weekend.

Overall, I think it comes down to better OCing (Biostar) or future graphics and ram expansion (MSI). This is, of course, considering that x8 x8 suffers a significant performance impact as compared to x16 x16.

Chances are I will be crossfiring, but not in the near future.

ADVICE PLEASE!

Going to chip in, I've had experiences with MSI, and Biostar. MSI is by far the worse experience I've had, 1 motherboard, 2 RMAs dead PCIE slot, the other dead LAN port, and 1 dead vid card in RMA now. I have a biostar sckt 478 board, and the AGP slot is sooo sensitive if you touch the vid card while it's on it'll kill the output, and I have to restart it. So those are my experiences with both companies.
