Default Asus 780i died, Q9300 looking for new home

My Asus P5N-T crashed during a "Rom SIP table updated" and seems to be bricked even after resetting CMOS.

Anyway getting tired of this mobo so i'm looking for a new one.

requirements:
- Q9300 compatible and good overclocker
- SLI for 2 Nvidia 9800gx2(Would a 790i be better for Quad SLI?)
- large userbase for sharing overclocking settings
- not to keen on Asus anymore but i'm open for reason.

I think that narrows it down to a 780i or 790i. The latter requiring me to upgrade to DDR3 but that's not a showstopper.

suggestions welcome

Just tried to restart it again after leaving it off all night in CMOS reset position. But still bricked.
