alright awesome well thanks again for the suggestion. i suppose like you said only testing will tell.

and to hogan no i don't think that's normal......what is you ambient temp? cause my temps weren't even that high at 1.50 nb voltage for me and my ambient is like ~80 degrees F

Default Liquid Cooling blocks

Does anyone know what blocks (other than the EK-NB S-Max) are compatible for the NB?

Thanks for your time.

not that I know of, if someone had the block from the Maximus Extreme SE I believe that works.

I have no problem running the Swiftech MCW30 on my NB. I ran it on my P5E, my Maximus Extreme and now the Rampage extreme.

Here it is on my P5E and ME (I dont have any pics of the Rampage yet).

If it fits on the P5E, it will fit on the rampage formula. The boards are virtually identical.

I only saw a few mentions that it didn't "completely" cover the NB IHS, but that for all intents and purposes it was likely covering the chip just fine.

Thanks EricEOD, much appreciated.

Indeed, I took a look at that block but was balking as I was uncertain of the coverage and performance, but if it gets your approval then that is all that I need to know.

Also, "Thanks" to Robilar and RPIJG for your input.

+ for the "Normies", and + virtual for the "Mod".

Thanks, guys.

You can also check this NB cooler, it´s from koolance.

I have used it on many different boards, Rampage is one of them, and now I have it on my 790i board.

I like it because it do the job and have a very flexible mounting solution.

On a side note: Just wondering if this is how you should run your ram if you overclock and what is the reason why.
