tough questions, on my P5K Deluxe I can push 450MHz a NB of 1.55V, once I get my rampage installed and up and running I'll let you know what I find though.

My curiosity is piqued by your comments on the aftermarket coolers, I didn't think from looking that I would have any issues with my TRUE, are you saying that it won't fit?
I've run the Zalman 9700 and currently a True 120 extreme with no issue on the fit. I should be getting my 4870 in a few days .I hope it scores as well as my 8800GTS . keep me posted as to how it works out for you.

I'll let everyone know. All of the reviews that I've seen, nobody has had any problems using the TRUE-120, it was the first I'd heard of anyone having a problem with it.

Looks like you shouldn't have a problem with a TRUE-120? I don't know. The Zalman I ordered, couldn't make contact with the CPU as the on board heatsinks were in the way. The Zalman was a beast, so maybe it is that model?

I think this was the one I bought. Although the fins were not copper. Same size though it seems. Damn thing wouldn't fit. Oh well. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14...40c14s52#blank

I can see how the one you had would be an issue, some of those "low profile" circular heatsinks make space an issue, they are great for HTPC rigs or the like, but with today's rather large NB/Mosfet/Vreg heatsinks they just don't work.

I picked up my board yesterday. All I can say is...wow, very nice packaging (except for the typo on the back that says it is using the x38 chipset), I had to double take a few times, because I was about to go bat turd on someone for sending me the wrong board...but it is a Rampage, and the front of the box has the x48 express chipset logo/symbol.

I like that Asus used the plastic board package, I was never a fan of how the P5K deluxe was just stuffed in a anti-stat bag in the bottom of the box, with all the other bits and bobs floating around.

STALKER came free, a 3D06 Advanced Key (that I already own) not sure if the software is on the disc or not, Kapersky AV, drivers, etc. The board looks like hot geek sex. It weighs a ton, I cannot wait to start tearing out the guts of my rig to put this gorgeous monster inside. I got this from a local shop for $50 less than TD and Newegg had it at the time. Something to be said occasionally for the local shop guys.
