Itīs okey but you should be able to pull tRD7 Moderate or Strong at FSB 475 CAS4, what about your volt setup, can you post them?

If you can reach 950 444 12 you should be able to reach 1141 555 15 tRD7 Moderate or Strong which should give you little better performance.

For my E8500 @ 4.51GHz (530x8.5) the highest PL is 9. Tried all combination of settings to get 8 but none worked. I find that once over 490FSB it won't boot at nothing but 9 and above.

One thing highly recommended to do on this board is to remove the stock NB/SB heatsink, clean it and the NB/SB chips then apply aftermarket thermal paste. It dropped both my NB/SB temps by 10'c idle; and 8'c underload.

Is memset a good/safe tool for viewing/tweaking memory? I see some people use it and have yet to find any alternatives.

i actually did remove stock cooling for NB and SB.

i put spirit II in NB and HR-05 in SB with a fan. i think they are pretty cool.

hey luckysevnn which setting for voltaje do you have for getting 4,5ghz?? i should get a bit higher than 4ī275 with my E8600.

thank you!

This is the best IMO as they support all the latest chipsets as well and constantly updated. It also detects multi-core CPU's correctly~

530x8.5
333 strap
DDR2-1062 2N 5-5-5-15-5-60
Static Read Control =Auto
Performance Level =9
all pull-in's Disabled

CPU vCore =1.375v (1.352v underload, did Vdroop mod)
CPU PLL =1.50v (1.561v real)
DDR2 Volt =2.00v (2.04v real)
NB Volt =1.43v (1.45v real)
SB Volt =1.10v (1.12v real)
SB 1.5 =1.50v (1.55v real)
Loadline Calibration =Disabled (enable can use vCore 1.335v but temp shot up to 79'c)
FSB Termi =1.38v (1.30v real)
CPU GTL Ref =x0.63
FSB GTL Ref =x0.67

CPU & PCIE Spread Spectrum =Disabled
Everything except "Executive Disable Bit" is disabled

But then every system behaves differently, so what worked for me may not work for you. But you could use my settings as your base and go from there. Good luck!

im really trying for Booster at 7 but i cant putting Clock Twister to auto, light,.....
with Booster to 8 i can put Twister until Strong without problems.

maybe my voltajes are holding me back to get it to 7.

these are the voltajes with the overclock:

475X9= 4,375MHZ
DDR 950MHZ 4-4-4-12-87-45-6-3

CPU 1,375
CPU PLL 1,62
NB 1,51
DRAM 2,1
FSB TERMINATION 1,32
SB 1,1
SB 1.5V 1,60
LOAD CAL ENABLED
GTLīS 0.63X

Any help with voltajes to got BOOSTER to 7??

You can't get more out of the transaction booster with more voltage. It's strictly based on timing. You're going to be stuck at 8, I think, unless you perhaps change your strap. Even then I doubt it.

I donīt agree with error10 that it's strictly based on timing, you have the FSB and strap to consider also and if you push higher volt through the NB you can sometimes force a lower tRD.

So maybe if you push NB to 1,61+ you can make it, but is it worth it.....

Then again, if you can reach 950 444 12 you should be able to reach 1141 555 15 tRD7 Moderate or Strong which should give you little better performance.

Check with Everest.
