Wasn't liking the stock coolers that much so I replaced them. Going to remount the HR-05's and TRUE tonight so they work better.

I'm attempting to get my q6600 stable at 3.6GHz, and was wondering if someone has some input. I stress tested with prime95 (small ffts) at these settings and it was stable for ~12hrs.

CPU Ratio Setting - 9.0
FSB Frequency - 400
DRAM Frequency - 800MHz
CAS Latency - 5
RAS to CAS - 5
RAS PRE Time - 5
RAS ACT Time - 15

CPU Voltage - 1.425
CPU PLL Voltage - 1.50
North Bridge Voltage - 1.25
DRAM Voltage - 1.82
FSB Termination Voltage - 1.20
South Bridge Voltage - 1.05
SB 1,5V Voltage - 1.50
Loadline Calibration - Enabled

CPU GTL - 0.63x
NB GTL - 0.67x

CPU Spread Spectrum - Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum - Disabled

Initially I thought it needed more vcore, but that didn't work. So then I tried increasing the nb voltage to 1.4 and the fsbt voltage to 1.4, and still no luck.

Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to OCN

Have it stable for 12hrs is not bad at all I most say but i quess you want more.

Try to set NB GTL to 0,63% and NB to ~1,41, it should make the NB more stable, I think it´s the one who let you down.

My Q6600 was more stable at 450x8 than at 400x9.

Bios 701 is official. Just remember to clear the cmos after flashing. Working fine for me.

People who previously walled at fsb 450 with their quads are now reporting that they can get 465 stable with bios 701.
