Default Dead MOBO confrimation hurry!

Alright i gotta go to work in 20 min and last night i redid my water loop and dont know what i did wrong but after some serious testing my p5n32-e wont post. All the lights turn on and the light turns green. But my quad gets no signal to the ram...(tracers) and either does an old p4 which im using on a different comp now. It doesnt make sense but could the boards cpu socket be dead?

Do you have any spare low voltage RAM ? That board has an issue that it won't boot with those high voltage sticks. You need to boot with some low volt stuff, and then set the RAM manually to 2.2V

Or try with a single stick... sometimes that works.

could be the board.... since you have tried different CPU and RAM, I rule those out. Could be the GPU, or the PSU.

Or just a simple short circuit somewhere.

Tried boot with no gpu. Still nothing, everything powers up fine and theres no problem with the psu. Downside is i have no speaker and cant get any beeps. Any one have an idea ive checked the northbridge and nothing seems wrong...sigh

I some how shorted my old Abit IP35-E. Had the same symptoms and all. I tried everything you did too. As soon as I put in a new mobo, it fired right up. I bet you shorted it , maybe from static or something. Do you have a spare mobo or could you borrow someone's?

I didnt take it apart per say just did a water cooling clean up. New tubes and water. i Lapped all the parts and did the cpu (let it dry for a day) then put it all back together and then booted up and got nothing. So i went and got a p4 cpu and still nothing, tracers were NOT showing any action lights. The little light turns green when i turn it on but nothing is posting. Also just ordered a open box DFI p35 bored as i dont have SLI and 680i is horrible.

I may be mistaken, but static can build up on your hands and when you touch your mobo or gpu, it could short it. Isnt that the reason why it is recommended to use anti-static gloves when removing/installing hardware?

edit:the little green light, as in the one for the mobo?

I was wearing a ESD wrist strap, and yes the indicator light on the mobo was lit green. And would a shorted mobo cause all the other parts on it to light up and the fans connected to run? BTW the TRACER ram has blue lights that are always on...but the activity lights dont run.
