I'm with you. I have the Asus Maximus Formula X38 and that Loadline Calibration keeps it as solid as a rock. Best board I ever owned.

The reason i didnt put asus up was becuase i have had nothing but problems in the past. I take it loadline is vdroop? if so, that sounds pretty cool. no big problems with the asus board?

Ditto, the DK is an awesome board and all, but some of the bios options are a little different than the LT, and when you need a high FSB (like us with quads with a low multi) the LT seems like it would be better. You can adjust different voltages differently and stuff. Plus the LT just seems to have slightly better features over the DK. But the DK price is a little nicer.

Loadline calibration reduces vdroop (in some cases eliminates it).
__________________Its one of the main reasons I went with the Asus board. The board is very stable and can do north of 500 FSB without any issues I've seen. Also, seeing as I'm running 4870's in Crossfire on it, I can also attest to the fact that it runs a crossfire setup really well.

I should be fair to the board. My CPU has a vid on the awful side of awful (1.2375) and the box says 1.25 max. Probably not going to get far when it's set to 1.20 to begin with.

There's a vdroop mod for the P5E, so loadline calibration really isn't necessary. I think the mod is at the P5E thread.
