Default P5GDC Deluxe V.S. 4CoreDual-SATA2

Ok these two motherboards are completely different beasts (if you want to call them that at all). I want reasons why one board is better over the next please.
All help is appreciated

ASUS P5GDC Deluxe

ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2

I don't think the P5GDC even takes dual core CPUs but I could be wrong (a BIOS hack or something?)
