New to Overclock.net

So it was way more easier doing oc's on the old p5k-e, so anyhow im following this guide to the dot, http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/overc...s-dfi-add.html i was stable at 3.4ghz in the p5k-e, i dont have this setting (CPU VID Control) as they were probably using a higher end board like the ut series. so i try messing with the bios, then bam blackscreens due to voltage settings, and thus forcing me clear cmos, which is a
__________________ to do, since asus goes back to regular settings, weird how it doesnt work on dfi, maybe im doing something wrong, unless they show me a better guide or sumin

DFI is too l33t to be messing around with straight up vcore :P No seriously, the option that you need for voltage management is called CPU VID Add, it lets you add voltages in .0125V increments. So, figure out what your voltage needs to be, and find the option that adds to your original VID to get you to your target. Good luck!
