I'll RMA my p5kc, doesn't know still if everything is ok with MB or not.At my rig it doesn't work as it should.
So... P5q pro or p5q-e, i don't want to spend for deluxe because I don't need it. Any other suggestions for the same price? Thanks in advance Cheers

i'd recommend the P5Q Pro
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131296 the P5Q-E is a amped up version, the extra stuff might not be needed. This is very good bang for your buck: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157131 DDR3 like your P5KC, wifi and Crossfire.

I like the E because it puts linux on a SSD, whereas the Pro puts it on ur hard drive. Might not be worth the extra money, but it's ur choice

I won't buy it at newegg.I'm from slovenia.
The p5q is 100€, p5q pro 110€, p5q-e 120€ and p5q deluxe 160€.I definetely won't go with p5q-c and p5q deluxe. In one way i like -e version, because of the cooler and outlook, for those 10€ i better spend it, so i won't need to change MB so soon if i would want to upgrade in next 1-2 years. I just want reliable OC MB which could take me to the highest level of performance if I would want to watercool or smth else. Does anyone know if i could put my Xigmatek hdt-s-1283 on the -e version, it seems like a tight thing because of the 3 side cooler :|

My Zalman 9500 fits with lots of room around it no problem on the p5q-e, pretty sure that HSF will fit no problem as well. There's actually quite a lot of room around the socket on that board.

![]() I think P5Q-E is worth the extra money, the cool heatsinks and nice features. It can OC pretty much, have a friend that took E8400 to 4.4Ghz with that motherboard! Xigmatec will fit, the fins are placed somewhat high..enjoy it, hope this helped..

I hope that my P5Kc is really ready for RMA.Still, i don't need to bother so much because if the new one will be shiped for p5q-e - p5kc= new price, than the reseller can't judge my brains as stupid.I'm just profiting with new MB and no problems. We'll see. Can't wait if everything will go as planed. Can't wait 33days, so you'll have a new rig! Those Durons were some nasty things
