Default [Solved] No CPU Voltage Control - DFI DK P45 PLUS
Ok... So all happy I got my DFI P45 yeasterday, built it today.... and I have no voltage control in my bios....?
I've been looking at this..http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/hardw...herboards.html

And i have no CPU VID voltage control!



and the CPU VID ADD isn't in percent.... Seems almost like it doesn't know what its doing... Bios states CPU is at 1.26v.

EDIT: There is no vdroop control either... And a few other things are MIA.

have look round on the DFI forum, they might be able to tell you more than on here as DFI BIOS's are absolute minefields

I am using the bios revision ahead of that... 812... cheers i will have a look at the DFI forum... I'm going to proceed with flashing it with the new bios.

The DKs normally don't have a VID control, just eh VID special add, in mV. Why you would need two CPU voltage controls is beyond me anyway.

Also, the utility of Vdroop control is extremely overrated (it's usually worse to have it enabled), and I don't think most of the DKs have this ethier.

I don't see anything wrong.

Someone could make a lot of money by explaining what all of these options actually do in DFI bioses AND the other million options you have to tweak your RAM with

Plenty of people know what all, ore nearly all, of these options do, and guides explaning them are a dime a dozen (the OP linked to a fairly decent one). I've used DFI boards for the better part of five years and by now, virtually none of my settings are ever left on "AUTO".

Is there a specific setting that you are having trouble with?
