Default Best nvidia sli board

what would you all say is the best board for me to get if i had a gtx280 and would add another one in probably a year? it would be with a quad core 9450 im assuming i could get it up to 3.5 or so, 4 Gigs of ddr3 1333, 1680x1050 monitor, i dont know what else to give you, spec wise. thanks in advance.

Your best bet would be any 790i series bored. I would recomend the evga 790i ftw board myself. Hope that helps

Thats why I said ddr2. Personally I would take a $75 CAS 5 DDR2 1066 set over a $230 CAS 6 DDR3 1333 set anyday. The performance difference is negligible.

wait for Asus Rampage Extreme II, which will support SLI and Crossfire, so if you ever decide to switch em' up, you always have that option. Plsu it'll have core i7. Not too much of a wait, a few months. (I don't know the release dates of core i7+x58 chipsets.)

Then you'll have to buy an i7 CPU with DDR3 RAM. Not necessarily the cheapest way to go.
