This mb has bios issue so ram can't get higher than 1150Mhz.
Try mBios, you can find it at XS, it's just a modified original Asus Bios.It worked for me and many other guys

sigrig, stable up to 3.5Ghz, but I don't have low enough ambient temps to push it higher.

Maybe in a few weeks.

Anyone here hit 500 FSB or higher on BIOS 1406? 450 is rock solid but I cant seem to go higher. At 450 my NB is only 1.2 but when I try 500 with NB voltage as high as 1.44, I can't even POST.

Ive got a similer problem and tried 1406, 1106 or whatever it is and neither will let me go higher then 500. I can get 500 or close but everything higher no matter what voltage or setting I try, including different ram will work.

I can boot into and run memtest up to about 550 or 560 that Ive tried so far but anything above 500 will bsod windows.

I think its something to do with the SB or sata conroller or something along those lines just cant figure it out. Oh and Ive got aftermarket on everything.

I can Prime at 505FSB with my quad, but I need to use the CPU and NB clock skews, as well as really jack up vcore, vNB, and FSB termination voltage.

You guys need these M Bios M1406 etc.. Just make sure you follow the install and it is the correct board or you may screw up your BIOS. See the link to other forum with instructions.

maxx.... i know you had a crazy setup on your IP35 pro and that's what i came from to this board. with the IP35 pro i couldnt get past 425 FSB stable and at least with this i hit 450 but i was really hopeful. what do you think about this board over the IP35 pro?

lu(ky.... have you seen great improvements with the bios from xtreme? does it improve issues with memory and not recognizing EPP profiles?

I have not tried it yet. But I heard it works wonders for memory settings. This setup I plan on selling anyways so I will settle at 4.2GHz with vcore at 1.3V BIOS 1406. But I did find this board to be much much easier to OC vs my Blackops x48 board.
