i also discovered that i was able to overclock my ram better than my other board (evga 680i) on the 680i i was not able to get over 900 and on my asus im able to get 925 stable maybe ill try even higher... and even better runs alot cooler..

woot! Just got my P5Q-Deluxe yesterday! Though having trouble with a couple things, including the RAM and the OS.. still trying to sort it out...

do i set my FSB Strap to North bridge on AUTO or shud change it to 400mhz? im confused bout this...if i change it to 400mhz, my maxed DDR ram is only 400?

Upgrade to the latest BIOS, which is 1406 and supposedly fixes several memory compatibility issues.

Well if you have DDR2 800 RAM, each stick runs at 400MHZ however, if you've got a dual channel set up meaning two of the same type of sticks it runs in dual channel mode and you end up with 800MHZ.

As for the setting, the only thing I've changed in the AI Tweaking section is the FSB speed which is at 400 for me and corresponds to a 3.6GHZ clock speed on my e8400.

^na that is pretty crappy score...i got like only 5000 , i think over 15000 is good score!

Im not sure about the score but do you have Physx Enabled ?

New member here....I finished my P5Q-Pro (sig) build up this weekend and am still working on a decent OC. I haven't been able to get 3.2ghz on stock voltage like most people but a bump to 1.22 gave me 3.2ghz prime95 stable, though a little disappointing. I'm going to do some more testing today as I'd really like to hit 3.5ghz without going over 1.3 vcore, but we'll see. My temps are around 38c idle and never went above 48c load during prime95 testing.
