Northbridge was running at 1.20v I have changed this to 1.15 and now M/B is 35c, will do some testing to see if it is stable, also changed ram from 2.00v to 1.9v as this was flagged yellow in bios

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145184 your memory is rated to run @1.8v....you should drop the voltage even more... and i think that there's something wrong with your motherboard or your airflow....you didn't tell me about your airflow....what casing do you have??? cuz if you have good airflow...then i'd suggest you rma your mobo because there would something wrong with the heatsinks....you're running much lower voltages than i'm and you're getting way high temps...

I am using a rubbish case at the mo, waiting for my new CM 590 to arrive, this could be the problem I think, also I am still playing with speed fan which keeps slowing all the fans down, I will lower the ram voltage to 1.8 thanks

If you are using the stock motherboard cooling then you might want to add a 40mm fan or to the NB section of the heatsink. I added 2 40mm fans to mine and my NB temp never went over 35C and that was at 1.38v. Your temps aren't that bad but considering the P45 chipset is on a 65nm die, you might want to try some things to lower the temps a bit.

I have found out why the temp is so high, the chip that says EPU on it sits right under my graphics card, I put a 120mm fan pointing at this, it has brought my M/B temp down to 33c under load and the graphics card down from 60c under load to 45c, Im sure when I get my new case this will be sorted, one thing I am having probs with though, I cant get speedfan V4.38 to control my cpu fan, infact all it is controlling is the 120mm fan labled as speed02

I have the P5Q Turbo. Very good overclocking. I got to 4.27GHz with my E8500. I will experiment more later.

For you guys running Windows 7, what BIOS are you using? I'm getting freezes like crazy ever since I went to Windows 7 with mBios 1703.
Darklink, how is the vanilla 2101? How long have you been running with it? Thanks in advance.
